The Kidney Function Test (KFT) assesses how effectively your kidneys are functioning. It measures waste products in the blood and helps detect early kidney issues, dehydration, or other health problems.

Note: - Ranges may vary slightly by lab, age, gender, and muscle mass.

Why it’s Important:
Aids in diagnosing kidney disease, monitoring the impact of diabetes and hypertension on the kidneys, and assessing hydration status.
Fasting is not mandatory. It can be done at any time, although a morning sample is preferred.
